FREE YOUR MIND – Broken Ocean – Brand New Release

Free Your Mind

Here’s the next track from our new music project
Broken Ocean.

‘Free Your Mind’ is a dance track that David had created and sent over to me this past Sunday.
I quickly got to work on writing some lyrics and recording the vocals with added 3 part harmonies for the finished track. This really is so far detached from my usual ‘Folk/Indie style but, I’m finding a whole new range in my Vocals! We have to cram in every spare minute we have to work on our music project as we are from opposite ends of the earth and hours apart in time zones! This is what the internet was made for, like minded musicians creating some sounds for all to share (hopefully)
I hope you enjoy this track.

Lyrics

So in love
So in love

Forget the time when people ruled your mind
When others flee to hide and recognise
They let you out into the world to find
The ancient ruins and fortunes that you find

So let them run and hide
Free yourself tonight
Tomorrow never comes
But yours is fine

Released a sense of pride
believe your sound of mind
Come fly away your life
Cos you are mine

So in love
So in love

Myself and David Far would to thank everyone for their kind support for our new music project!

Darren Claxton is a Songwriter, Musician, Producer and now BBC Radio artist, from Derbyshire UK. The music he writes is often heartfelt acoustic indie folk with a sprinkling of rock and country influences, with an occasional world music flavour as heard on his track ‘Dragonfly’ . But most of all, it's his passive emotive thoughts and feelings that are delivered through that soothing vocal, and intricate guitar playing of his.

darrenclaxton AWESOME! Great JOB! The title "Broken Ocean" brings to mind a couple of things, first is what humans have done in polluting our oceans and second is that oceans separate us but the interweb has broken that distance to bring us closer. I am sorry, but I still hear Darren Claxton all over this, which is not a bad thing. I think it is really cool that you are doing this project. I would like to know more about David Far, like what country is he from? How did y'all meet? Why the
