My kid destabilized again ( this is the third time) – her need for the insulin is dropping

Morning folks, rainy day here. Starting early today with a grumpy kid at home. She is not going to school, not sure if she is going to go tomorrow. We will see.

My kid destabilized again ( this is the third time) and her need for insulin is dropping so she needs it less and less. That is a good news, the bad news is that it looks like she has a virus ( but no fever, throat or runny nose).

When we first came from the hospital we shared amount of carbs with a factor 7, then 9, 10, 12 and now it is 16 to get a right number of insulin units for her. Carb amount in meals is the same, or even bigger. My kid also gained weight and is rapidly growing.

Yesterday she had two of her six meals with no insulin whatsoever, one was low carb and the last at 21H I had nothing to share with because a meal was too low, and her sugar was already on 4.6 ( it means about 15-20 g of carbs with no insulin is necessary through the night in her case) .

This morning her blood sugar is normal and test stripe for urine, Keto-Distix, indicate nothing happened inside of a system while she was sleeping. I also was awake most of the night, in case something unwanted happen.
A low sugar has a bad aftermath so I am extra careful.

To ones who don’t know my daughter was recently diagnosed ( in March) with Diabetes Type 1.

Short explanation what Type 1 is, and it is not fat diabetes which is an illness treatable with diet, this one is an auto-immune life-long condition.
Type 1 = incurable ( for now), pancreas beta cells which produce insulin are dead, disabled and continuously killed by body’s own immune system, needs synthetic insulin to live 7 times a day in form of shots.
Type 2 = curable with diet, eats too much carbs, pancreas can’t make enough natural insulin so sugar goes up, person needs either shots or pills once/twice a day).

Luckily I had a feeling and she was hospitalized early. We were in the children’s hospital for 10 days, I described every day in my previous blog posts. Untreated this condition is a ticket for a certain death, and many children dies of it ( and many other illnesses) as they do not have the same life conditions and the health care like we do in Europe.

Jasmine is a beautiful flower and have a planting season starting from February to March. It looks so nice in lawns of the houses and spread/provide a nice fragrance. It can be planted any where like in side of the roads, in parks and in offices lawns. It can be planted in pots also because in pots it can be placed any where in the rooms also. I decided to make some changes to my fitness and lifestyle just after Christmas, and took up running on the 28th December



I now leisurely try and get out 3 times a week (work and family permitting) and do anything from 3.1 miles (5km) to 6.1 miles (10km)

Derbyshire is such a beautiful place to live in, but we sometimes miss all the nature and lush scenery whilst I’m driving

As many of you that follow me know, I started running on the 28th December and soon after, gave up drinking alcohol on the 31st December.

It’s been an epic task, but every time I go out for a run, I push myself that little bit further! And today, in – 1 Degree centigrade, I managed 6.2 miles in an hour! That’s 10k, a popular distance here in the UK.

I was trying out a few different pairs of running shoes like the Asics Gel and Kalenji Kiprun, but these were no match for my £34.99 Skechers (that I bought on a sale a few years ago, when I thought about taking up running)

I prepared it all before I went out on my epic adventure (well, it was to me) and cooked it all when I got home.

The biggest issues with mental health, is knowing there is a problem but not knowing what to do or where to focus your energies – mental health is hard for some people to talk about, so thank you for stepping up and sharing your personal experiences with us.
I have found with my own struggles, it really works best for me to do what you did, focus on family and the things worth fighting for – they are the reason to wade through all the shit and find a way to make ourselves feel whole again, it can take time, but with support like you obviously had from your partner it can be done.
You can come out the other side, and having that knowledge is power! knowing there can be an end to the internal struggle and sadness – once you have that, you’re really on the way, even if it happens again, you now know what you need.

During March-April of 2013, I wrote my first 5 track EP ‘Never Grow Old’ which was due for general release later that year. The songs almost wrote themselves and sprung out of me like an emotional whirlwind of emotive feelings and memories of past events. It was a year that saw me play over 50 gigs, various folk festivals and a few radio shows here in England, to promote the pending release of this physical and digital CD. It never really made it further than the few hundred people who bought it at one of those gigs. They were mostly signed copies, so I really hope they’re worth something one day….

The next part of this story is quite sad, But I feel very passionate about ‘Mental Health’ issues and just want to try and put an end to this overly ‘Taboo’ subject of Anxiety, depression and mental health that so many of us struggle with, and try to hide or act like ‘Nothing is wrong’ the tears of a clown syndrome, as I like to call it. I can only speak from experience and share my thoughts on the matter, and hope that I can reach out and help some of you reading this right now.

I’m lucky that I have music to channel my energy and a loving and supportive family that understand my little quirks and triggers. I’m a very lucky man in that respect but, I fear others are not so lucky , but I want them to realise that, THERE IS always someone willing to listen…Be it ‘The Samaritans’, Your neighbour, a Teacher, Friend or total stranger… Just talk to someone and don’t feel ashamed of how YOU are feeling.

It sadly culminated in my huge breakdown that November. A feeling of utter disappointment that I hadn’t hit the ‘Big Time’ came crashing down around me, teamed with huge anxiety and fear of never achieving my musical dreams and goals!
However, intertwined within all of this chaotic unchartered territory that I was experiencing, came an extremely beautiful and positive moment in my life. A few weeks before, at the end of October, our beautiful daughter was born (second child) which I swear, kept me strong and saved me from completely sinking into oblivion! My son was only 4 years old at the time, and didn’t really understand why ‘Daddy was so sad’ Thank goodness….I’ll explain to him one day when he’s old enough to understand, and I’ll also let him know how much he helped me to realise how fortunate I really was to have him, his sister and mum.

We can analyse the causes of our mental health issues until the cows come home, but we just need to accept them for what they are, random and sometimes completely Irrational thoughts.

I had failed my family somehow, maybe it was the aftermath of such an amazing summer?, or the fact that I had finally addressed a lot of heart ache and bad feeling towards certain people?, or maybe, just maybe, some self realisation that I had messed up so many things in my past relationships, with my Ex girlfriend and estranged mother.
When I say ‘Messed Up’ what I really mean is, letting THEM control MY feelings towards THEM and strive to make them happy or accept me for who I am! but you know what? we should never let anyone dictate to us in this way, force us to accept their love, time and energy or indeed , control how ‘they want us to be.

By the following April I had undertaken Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Counselling sessions to alleviate those anxious feelings, thoughts of being a failure or third rate citizen, and it REALLY helped…
Months and a few years ticked by and I slowly managed to drag my self away from that mind-set, with the help of my now partner and close family members! It’s been a bumpy ride full of tears and laughter, but now, mainly laughter and happiness.

Why run when you can walk

There is a word that most overweight people dislike, it is a word that turns people off and makes their mind switch to another channel to avoid thinking about it. Unfortunately it is a key part to weight reduction and something that when done correctly can be the cause of your success.

The word is…………….. Exercise! Now stay with me here, switch your mind back on to what I am saying stay, in this same frame. The reason most overweight people do not like the ‘E’ word is because they have set up in their mind that in equals pain and like most people they will do anything to avoid pain.

There is a better way and you can find the better way when you begin to understand that there are different ‘types’ of exercise (hey, don’t disappear – stay with me now) At the lowest level there are 2 forms of exercise, these are; · Aerobic and · Anaerobic Aerobic exercise causes your heart and muscles to work very hard, pumping blood round your body at a high rate to get the oxygen to the muscles in order for them to keep working. A side effect of this is that it produces acid in your muscles, lactic acid to be precise.

It is this lactic acid that causes you muscles to stiffen up after you have finished, causing you pain. Lactic acid also stays in your system for a long time as your body finds it hard to break it down. If your body cannot break the acid down it wraps it up and stores it as fat! The main type of aerobic exercise that people do on a regular basis is running, yes this helps build fitness but if you want to reduce your weight you can only concentrate on building fitness once you get down to a sufficient weight. What you should concentrate on to start with is reducing your weight and nothing else, fitness comes later. This is where anaerobic exercise comes in.

Anaerobic exercise causes the heart to work harder than normal which still pushes the blood and oxygen around the body but does not work the muscles as hard and therefore does not create lactic acid. Further more anaerobic exercise helps in releasing stored fat and acid and helps it into the waste system so that the body can get rid of it. Remember you cannot ‘burn’ off your weight. The phrase ‘burning off calories’ is a myth! The weight you get rid of has to leave your body somehow and it is through your waste system that this happens. So, what is the best form of anaerobic exercise? I hear you ask Well, as the title of this article suggests it is walking.

My suggestion to you is that you walk for 1 ½ hours at least 3 times per week and that should be broken down into the following; · 15 minutes warm up walking at a pace slightly faster than your normal walking pace · 60 minutes walking at a high pace that gets your heart pumping · 15 minutes warm down walking at your normal walking pace.

If you cannot manage that to start with find your own level and start there and slowly build up to this level. Remember the warm up and warm down though as this is vital. Enjoy your walking.

Why do you get out of breath when you walk up the stairs?

Good question! In this section, the Health Network looks for the answer to nagging questions. This time: Why do you get out of breath when you walk up the stairs even if you are fit?
You go to the gym regularly, walk 5 kilometers hard with ease, and do not turn your hand for strength training either. But you still get out of breath when climbing the stairs. How can this be done?

The good news is that it is very normal. It does not mean that you are out of shape. Because your heart rate goes up during climbing stairs, you need more oxygen.

Unless you do daily workouts on the stairs or do hill training, you will continue to pant as you take the stairs. When climbing a staircase you use more muscles than when exercising or running. You actually do a kind of lunges up and you have gravity against you. You have to lift your whole body weight.

Work harder
If you want to see improvement, you will have to make your training heavier and add intensity to your workout. So do regular exercises for the legs, such as squats and lunges . This is how you imitate the movement of climbing stairs and will eventually become a lot easier.

Terra Forming

Some of this is considered by the mainstream as ‘tin foil hat’ conspiracy fodder and it might well be as it is difficult to find hard documentation on this subject. Terra forming is a belief that an alien race of reptilian are working to change the earth’s atmosphere to be more compatible to their liking. This is the ‘tin foil hat’ part of this post.

Now something that’s related but is able to documented but this subject is not covered by the MSM. This is the subject of chemtrails. Chemtrails are not to be confused with contrails. You can see the difference if you just give it a little time. Contrails are normally occurring when planes fly, they are vapor trails cause when the plane’s wings and tail cause low pressure streams in the air, the moisture in the air turns to a mist and form the visible traces in the sky. The contrails (which is a contracted word for condensation trails) will disappear with a few minutes as the condensate evaporates and turns back into moisture in the air.

Chemtrails are a mist emitted from the plane’s exhaust. They have been found to contain toxic substances like aluminum, barium, strontium 90, cadmium, zinc and viruses to name some of the particulate which has been found. These will not disappear within minutes like the contrail. One source wrote that

To address just one of the particulates being sprayed, aluminum has an affinity for water, all life forms attact these oxides. Everything absorbs aluminum salts. Reported in the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry “exposure to aluminum can increase migratory and invasive properties of human breast cancer cells”. Other studies show that aluminum binds to cellular estrogen receptors and may cause proliferation within hormone sensitive tissues.

Finally the reason I tied these two seemingly diametric subjects together. What they are doing with the spraying of chemicals which are proven to be hazardous to human is changing the environment or terra forming the earth. Incidentally terra is the Latin word for earth. Now I am not sure if reptilians thrive in this aluminum laced environment but I can say for sure that humans don’t.
