As of now (December 5), there are 6 fires on going throughout southern California. Since information is ever changing when it comes to fires, this will give you a general over view.
In Ventura county the Thomas fire has burnt 50,000+ acres and consumed 150 structures. It has 0% containment and they estimate at least 3,000 homes are still under threat. Over 27,000 people have been evacuated. At this time, the fire is headed toward the city of Ventura.

The Meyers fire near Devore is a 50 acre brush fire caused by downed power lines. This fire caused the closure of the connector between the 210, 215 and the 15 freeways, the freeway connector has since been reopened. The fire is 50% contained.

As this is a very fluid and fast moving situation, there may be other fires which I have not included. Needless to say, a state of emergency has been declared.
